Who is this wannabe pop star / copywriter?

I'm Stéphanie — a Colorado-based copywriter who often wonders if reading five books at a time is too much.

When I’m not lost in a good read, I’m doing yoga, hiking, or running nearby trails. Or, more often than not, hanging out with my husband, two kids, two cats, and many plants.

I've been writing professionally since 2017, with a marketing background that’s taught me how to find the language that matters, even when it’s easy to miss.

When I launched Bright Spot Copywriting… 

It was early 2022. And I was overwhelmed. 

I needed offers, a website, a marketing strategy, and most of all, clients — all in one go. What I learned is that, as the cliché goes, good things take time. Taking on new challenges isn’t new to me, though. 

I spent my childhood solo traveling between America and France (I’m a classic third culture kid — look it up, it explains a lot about me 😅). Figuring out Charles de Gaulle airport on my own at 12 years old taught me that you can find your way when you ask the right questions. 

That’s the energy I bring to my work.

I know what it’s like to not have all the pieces in place yet but still need to show up and get where you’re going. That’s why I enjoy working with brands who are growing fast and want messaging that keeps up. 

I work with a small number of clients at a time because I'm not chasing a massive list or a packed roster. When you hire me, you work directly with me and get timely responses. You’ll never find me stretched across 20 projects with no time to reply to emails.

And don’t worry. I won’t run off mid-project to top billboard charts with a legendary hit song. I have a knack for words, not performing. 😉
