Client work (current projects)
I’m focused on a number of client work, including:
Email copyediting for a jewelry brand
Copywriting for a fast-growing fintech company
Copyediting support for a creative agency
Substack writing
I’m writing more regularly on Substack. This is my creative side project where I’m not making goals, tracking metrics, or any of that stuff. I’m just hanging out, writing, and reading.
My first Substack is In the Weed Words: A Journey with Cannabis. If you want to nerd out on cannabis with me, this is a good place for it.
I’m also excited about my upcoming Substack, Vibe of My Own: Growing up TCK (Third Culture Kid).
What’s not a priority right now
I’m not chasing constant visibility or rapid growth for its own sake. Instead, I’m leaving space for real life experiences, high-quality work, and plenty of creative thinking.
And what a relief after years pushing the accelerator on all the things.
What I’m doing outside of work
Running early in the mornings before the summer heat kicks in, hiking as often as I can, and reading about five books at once, as usual.
Just saw Alabama Shakes at Red Rocks to celebrate our 18th anniversary. This was my first show there and it did not disappoint!
What I’m learning
Currently reading Very Good Copy by Eddie Shleyner. It's a good reminder that the best copy usually says more with less.
